Declaring myself a pool professional,
Not declaring my company name (no advertising)
I started my business this spring in the KC area. I offer any and all pool/spa services; construction, service, repair...also build decks and patios and anything else you might like in your back yard. I can answer most of your questions concerning pools and spas (some models not so much). That said, learning never stops. When I googled the site I had a construction question, but have since forgotten it. I'm sure it will come back to me at some point.
I was a member of another forum that had some knowledgeable folks, but way too much money grabbing pop-ups and other annoyances. Hopefully this will be better and I hope to add to the knowledge pool, although I do find myself not being able to spend as much time in the forums as I like.

Hi and welcome to the Pool Forum!
As you have already found, there is lots to learn here on the forum. We find it best if our 'in the pool biz guys' do a lot of reading here on the forum and over on our sister website www.poolsolutions.com when they first become members and don't start out with answering posts for awhile while they are new members. This gives you time to figure out what we are all about. The methods taught here are not your typically pool industry methods. So, we respectfully ask that you sit back and enjoy reading but for now, refrain from giving chemistry advice. Hope that makes sense and you understand our reasons for asking.
Again, welcome! :)
