Perimeter pool room

Hi all,
This is my first time posting and I'm hoping someone can help me.
Does anyone know how much actual room you need for an intex above ground pool?
I want to buy the 12x24x52 but I'm not sure if I have enough room, I have about 14 1/2 feet where my A/C unit is but I have plenty of room everywhere else..I understand that the more room the better but I really don't want to go with a smaller pool and moving the AC unit isn't an option..
I know it will be a tight fit but I'm ok with that I just don't want to buy it and find out later that the legs extend more than a foot on the sides, I have plenty of room on length side so it is only a small area that I am concerned about.,
No one ever said I should of bought a smaller pool so I could care less if I use my whole yard for this pool I just want to make sure the side legs will work..
