I am having a in ground gunite pool constructed. The plumbing has the water circulation returning to the pool 1 foot below the surface. They explained the return was to produce a current to the skimmer. It seems to me the heated water should be returned near the botom mostly at the shallow end of the pool to facilitate temperature mixing. The plumbing is exposed and the plumbers will be here tomorrow to finish. Help please.
