New Guy From NY

No questions this time. My name is Kevin and I live in New York's Hudson Valley.

I've been lurking here for the past few seasons and finally decided to register. My pool is 18' round, 4' deep. Each season when the weather gets hot, the water turns green - despite the local pool store saying the chemistry is perfect. This year I'm going to follow the info I've seen here and see if I can avoid the green monster! My shopping list is going to start with a quality test kit and some Borax to balance the pH.
