Asked a million times - but I'd like most current info: Pool patching
Hi all. My first post.
I have a 1-year old inground vinyl pool. Just found my first hole. it's a 1/4 inch puncture, looks like due to my son throwing action figures (everything in my house has such holes).
it's 1 inch above waterline... so i can drain down a bit to really get at the patching.
I read BOXER is the brand you all like. still true?
Ands what's the difference between Boxer adhesive #100 and #110?
Lastly -- I have a Dolphin dx6 pool cleaner - and it climbs the walls to scrub at the waterline. Any adivce on patching such that the robot won't pull the patch off in the cleaning process?

What a luxury, to be able to patch above the waterline!
I always use the #100, but I don't know the difference. I also always double patch, with the first being at least an inch or more bigger than the hole on all sides. Then I put a much bigger patch over the smaller one to seal it. But I always have to do it underwater!
