Repairing Leak Underwater
We just filled our inflatable 15' Summer Escape for its second year of Unimed duty, and I found a 1/16"x1/4" hole in the bottom of the liner, about 2" away from the transition to the thicker 'wall' material. The pool is sitting on top of a ground liner (basically thick tarp), and nothing is sticking through the hole indicating what caused the tear. Lawn next to tear is soggy, but not washed out.
Should I go with one of the wet patch kits? I've seen various levels of success reading internet reviews and forum posts. I really don't want to dump the 2700 gallons of fresh sparkling water that was JUST filled two days ago.
Any thoughts or tips?

Yes, I would repair the liner with the pool full. I never had good luck with the peel and stick patches but with a Boxer vinyl repair kit you should be just fine.

I have had to patch my liner 4 times. I strongly recommend you patch the hole, the put a much larger patch over the patch. The boxer glue can float away under water so wear old goggles because you do NOT want it in your eyes!
