We are running out of places to get a good Baquacil water test done. We are looking for a kit(other than the test strips) that is it easy enough for a homeowner to use? We would want to test for oxidizer, PH, sanitizer, calcium, and alkalinity (all the normal tests run by a pool company). Does anybody know of any options?
The Taylor K-1444 tests biguanide (Baquacil) levels and is reasonably priced. The Taylor K-8020 can be used to test hydrogen peroxide (oxidizer) levels. The pH, Calcium Hardness (CH) and Total Alkalinity you can get in a standard chlorine/bromine test kit such as the Taylor K-1005.
