Design help for water feature project. Sheer falls, overflow spill edge, led lights,

I'm a general contractor of 25 plus years. I personally do many of the specialty items like this current project. I'm building a water feature that i need a bit of advice on. It's basically 2- 18" deep water bodies, one sets 2' higher than the other, which overflows into the lower. I'm pumping from the lower to the upper through 2- 36" sheer falls into the top and from the top pool to the bottom 1- 36" overflow spill edge from custom cascade. The upper is 7' x 20' x 18" & 2000 gal the lower is 12' x 5' x 18" & 750 gal. We want to light it up with led's.

I have many questions & could use some professional advice.

Wrong place to come, for professional advice.

There are only a handful of people here (including myself) who are IN the pool business. And most of those who are here, are on the service side of things, rather than builders or store owners. PoolSolutions / PoolForum has always been oriented toward the pool owner's benefit, rather than the pool industry's benefit.

So . . . most pool people who come here either leave on their own, or get run off by me when they start trying to sell things. PoolSpaForum has a much higher percentage of pool industry members (and spammers!), so you can ask there.

But, it really sounds like you need a consult (= $$$) with a skilled high end pool designer. I'm doubtful that anyone skilled enough to be able to provide high quality advice on those topics is going to want to do so for free, just as the pool season is beginning to take off.

I'm going to go ahead and move your post into the pool construction section, but you need to keep in mind that any responses you get likely will be from pool OWNERS.
