I think I've figured out an easy way to use standard fountains/attachments with the non-standard Intex inlet fitting. I just made a homebrew adapter. It seems to be working, I'll post a link to pics if anyone's interested. Basically, I just converted an Intex inlet to a 1.5" female threaded fitting.
