Should I get the Poolpilot with 60 cell?
Hi,
I'm a newbie, and really appreciate all the great info.
The man who is going to install our pool stopped by with lots of questions and I didn't have answers for all of them (although he was pretty impressed with the questions I asked--because I've been reading up here!).
Anyway, he offers either the Aqua Rite or the Pool Pilot. After reading others experiences, I think I want to go with the Pool Pilot. Our pool is going to be 20x40 rectangle (not sure of gallons). Would the 48 cell size be enough or should I go ahead with the larger 60??? What would be the benefit?
Thanks!

I have the same size pool as you.
I went with the 60 cell and recommend you do as well. It will provide enough output for a pool your size and won't have to work as hard as a 48 cell, hopefully leading to a longer cell life.
I think it is worth a bit more on trade in as well.
You may want to check prices online. You might be surprised at the difference you can save from your builder's price.
Hope this helps
