I/G Light Bulb Replacement
Do I have to buy a halogen"pool light" from a "pool store" at $40+/bulb (120V250W) or can I go to a big box store & buy one for under $10 (120V200W)? Note the different wattage. It's an Aqua-Lumin II - Nicheless Light part #788811. Are pool lights special (as the pool store guy tells me)?
Re: I/G Light Bulb Replacement
You need a pool lamp, though I confess, I'm not sure what the difference is.
However, you can get either a 12V or a 130V 300W Pool/Spa rated bulb at Amazon for under $15:
Feit Electric 300R/FL-12 300-Watt R40 12-Volt Pool/Spa Flood Reflector
Feit Electric 300R/FL-130 300-Watt R40 130-Volt Pool/Spa Flood Reflector
