Retrofit light on old IG pool? Floating battery-powered unit?

I have a 1962 Sylvan IG, 20Kgal. I would like to be able to swim at night, but there's no light in or around the pool and no electric outlet nearby. I could probably run an extension cord out and use a product like the NiteLighter, but I was wondering if anyone had firsthand experience with battery/solar powered floating lights. I've only seen one disc shaped item (the "AquaNova") which gets contradictory reviews on Amazon. Is that really the only light of its type in the whole wide world?
