CYA test and how often

Question-

how often do you test CYA and does it change quite often or does that depend on things like rain and such?

I posted my results earlier and my CYA was the 30-50 range with the walmart test strip.

Once CYA is in the water, it is only lost from splash out or drainage, like when you backwash, etc.

No need to continually test it unless you experience one of those situations or you use a chlorine product that adds it, like di or tri-chlor.

Once I get my cya reading where I want it, I probably only test it once or twice more for the whole season.
