Crazy Cat Lady's Pool problems on startup

Hi Everyone,

Having start up issues the pool is a cleaner version of a swamp after hurricane sandy tossed the pool cover. I have been cleaning, chlorinating for over a month and still have light green cloudy water. Bought a Haywood Sand filter last week and finally have it working pretty well if 10 psi is a good rate not very knowledgable on this. Here are the numbers CL was a 5 this am after I added 1.5 bags of super shock last night(Cal Hypo). PH is 7.5, alk is 40, hardness 200, added 4lbs of cya a few nights ago as I couldn't get any reading level is now 30=50 on test strip. I have also used a foamy algeside called soultion 50 pool logic. It has 49% dimenthyl benzyl ammonium chloride and other stuff who know's didn't help just foamed up and left a slick of green scum on the surface. I have also used HTH regular clarifyer. I have been running the smart kleen robotic cleaner every night and it is picking up lots of green gunk off the bottom of the pool.New filter is on 24/7 Still funky so what's next????
