salt water system for AGP

I had one for my intek, but that pool was mostly vinyl. Im almost done installing my metal / aluminum 15x30 slat wall pool and i want to go with a salt water system but the salesmen who sold me the pool advised against it. And when a salesmen turns down a sale, that's a red flag, plus i won't be buying chemicals from him as he is out of state. He was very very knowledgable and helpful. Does anyone have a salt system for their agp and been using it for several years? Im conserned about the pittting over time.
