SR Smith Salt Stand with 8' Frontier III

Heya,

Our last pool had an SR Smith 8' Frontier III with Cantilever Jump Stand.
With the salt water, the stand was a battle to keep the rust at bay.

So, the pool at our new house....we are getting the same setup, but with the Salt Stand.

I presume this is a composite covered stand of sorts.

The springy nature of the original pool diving board is desired for the new one.

Wondering if anyone can verify the newer SR Smith Salt Stand is as good as the metal one in regards to performance/springiness?
