Timer for Pool Cover Pump

OK, I'm old, forgetful, distracted or something. The cover on my pool is what I refer to as a "Glad Bag" cover. Basically a huge tarp. I have a $70 or so pump that I throw onto it after it rains to pump the water off.

When I plug in the pump, I try to set the oven timer so I don't forget abount it and burn out the pump. Since I'm on pump three, that hasn't worked out too well.

What I'm looking for is a timer for an electrical outlet that I can just set and forget. All of the ones I have found for outdoor use (made for lighting) have a photocell. Some can be manually operated, but the shortest amount of time they can be set for is 2 hours, way too long.

Looking for links, suggestions, hints, ...help, before I burn out another pump.
