Do tri-chlor tabs lose potency?
I have an opportunity to get a pretty good price on 50 lbs of 3" tri-chlor hockey pucks. This is probably a little more than I use in a season. I'm about to close my pool and will use this next year. Will this chlorine lose any of it's potency over the winter? If so, will it lose enough to really matter? It will be stored in a shed in the yard. I hate to pass up a good deal like this, but I don't want to end up with ineffective chemicals.
Thanks,
Tom

Keep it dry and it will be fine.

Just check the ingredient label before you buy them and make sure that they don't contain copper!
