The deep end of my pool liner is wrinkling. It is only 5 years old. The pool guy came out and said it was tight and hard so didn't seem to be water and we are not losing water. He thought it might be from chemical imbalance at some point. I have been using the BBB method along with auto chlorinator with tri-chlor, could this impact the liner at all?
What have your pH readings been like. Trichlor is very acidic and will drive pH down. Low pH can cause liner problems such as wrinkling.
i test almost daily and ph has been between 7 - 7.6. could it have happened over the winter when chemicals were way off, it has been there but I am not sure if it has gotten worse or not and not sure if I should be concerned about it or not - thanks
Do you know what your pH reading was when you opened the pool up this spring?
