Leaking hoses/hairline crack on skimmer

The black (resemble shop vac hoses) are all leaking at the clamp sites. I am afraid to tighten the clamps anymore rather than damage the nozzles. This is not the translucent braided hose that goes from the pump. Its the black ones that go from the pump to pool and back. Is there a recommended way to create a better seal I.e. Teflon, electric, or other tape. Pipe dope ect???

Also I have a hairline crack in my skimmer. any advice on sealing that? Its about three inches, hairline. Should I seal from the inside/outside, sylicone/tape, maybe even a liner patch?
