Patching underwater vinyl liner
Hey, my first post, here. We have a very small hole in our liner, about a 1/4 inch maybe, and have patched it with the little patches that are made to put on underwater. However, it came up in about 7-10 days. We found it floating in the pool. Is there a trick to getting these on good? We must have wasted 5-6 before we even got the one to stick.
Thanks for your help!

What kind of adhesive did you use? I believe that Boxer 100 is the best for underwater applications.

Re: Patching underwater vinyl liner
The Boxer 100 is a slow acting stuff and will give you plenty of time to position the patch but you have to hold it in place for a bit until the adhesive sets some. Regular adhesives tend to be very agressive on the vinyl patch and curl it real fast. How deep are you working and where is the hole?

Thanks for your replies! We're working at 4 1/2 feet, near our ladder. I will get some of that adhesive and try again. Thanks so much!
