Brown slimey 'cream' = people 'goo' & lotion
Tan heavy 'cream' = calcium carbonate from using cal hypo as a sanitizer or shock.
But . . . why does it matter?
Its a tan heavy cream, it matters becuase its clogging up my filter cartridge and I have to keep cleaning every week, will it eventually go away?
Probably only when you quit using your pool. The filter is doing what it's supposed to do: getting the goo out of the water.
You have a choice: in the pool, or on the filter. Generally, it's considered better for it to be on the filter!;)
If you want to list the chemicals you're using, by EXACT name and brand, we might be able to suggest alternatives that wouldn't add as much 'stuff' to your filter.
