I current have a 10x16 semi inground pool. I use the Pentair Clean and Clear filter system. I just switched my hoses to pvc flex pipes. I have my filter about 18 feet from my pool. Is this ok for the filter? Is there a different system I should I get a new filter system? Also the return value on the filter is made for a hose to be clamped. I can not locate a union that will fit on the this. Is it ok if I double clamp the pvc pipe to the filter?
