Pressure gauge bad?
So, I just opened up the pool this year and I think my pressure gauge is not working right. When the pump is off, it's reading 30psi. After I cut on the pump, it reads 44psi. Is there any way to tell if it's bad or should I just remove it and go buy a new one?

Re: Pressure gauge bad?
If it's not going to zero with the pump off, you're better off replacing it. It only takes getting wet and cold once to make them malfunction, and they're fairly inexpensive. I end up replacing mine every year.

Re: Pressure gauge bad?
Janet, do you buy a replacement at a pool shop or Sears?

I don't know if Sears sells them or not, but usually place like Walmart do.

Walmart if they have them in stock, local pool store or online if not.
