Automatic cover with a hole- how to drain?
The automatic cover on my in-ground pool apparently has a hole (or holes) in it. I've been trying to drain the water off of it from recent rainfall but am only succeeding at lowering the level of the pool while the amount of water on top of the cover stays about the same. I can't visibly see any holes. Any suggestions on what I can do to remove the water from the cover? There is too much water on top right now to operate the cover. Thanks!

Call the manufacturer, and ask. I'm sure this is not a new problem for them.
I can think of several ways, but to implement them safely, you'll need SCUBA, and you'd have to be able to open the cover enough for a person to get into the pool.
