thanks for all ur help but stuck with pool measurments...please help

To make a very long story short. I paid someone to rebuild my inground pool this summer and when it came time for the liner and equipment to be installed well he didn't have it and was sorry but he wouldn't be able to complete the job. Then we noticedthat the work that he did do well the walls were cracking and ground water was coming in. So out $8000 it was time to see if we could tackle this problem on our own.
I read and read and read all the information that was available and always found myself coming back here.

my problem now is I measured the pool and the company says i'm missing measurements my measurements are:
length- 36
width- 18
deep depth- 8'3
shallow depth-3'1
shallow end 9'11
front slope-9'5
pad length-11'6
back slope- 5'
side slope- 4'7
pad width- 9'1
side slope-4'7
corners 6" radius
does anyone see whati'm missing?
i've gone to various sites and all my measurements fit on their order forms. I'm really confused

Sorry, Liners are not my strongpoint either. They are not that common here in Florida.

I guess that leaves me :)

Adding up your measurements I come up with a floor length of 36' 10" and a width of 18' 3" . The program they run the custom liners through will 'balk' if the floor measurements don't add up to the overall dimensions.

Can you tell me how you came up with the dimensions you gave? Did you measure the length and width of the pool, in a couple of places, to be sure it's exactly 18 X 36 and did you check the diagonals to be sure the pool is square and check the panels to see if they are plumb? Did you use a plumb-bob to establish your transition points or just "eyeball" it?

I've measured for hundreds of replacement liners and will try to help identify why your numbers aren't adding up correctly.
