I have a cc200 (200 square feet) pentair cartilage pool filter that is about 8 years old with 2HP pump, from previous house owner. I have been using it for about 5 years. It now has a crack in the top housing, and I am tired of cleaning the filter out every 2-4 weeks during the summer months in Texas. My pool is approximately 12500-15000 gallon with 2 inch plumbing. I want to know what others would recommend for a good sand filter for this situation. Thanks.
