Poly gas line installation

Hello,

I have been in the pool service and repair industry for quite a few years and am getting ready to build my first pool. Actually, building my own pool. My question is...As far as installing poly gas piping, can a person with a c53 do this or does one need a specific certification for this install? I'm in California.
