Pool Pilot Problem
I have a Pool Pilot DIG-220 - it has worked flawlessly for the last couple of years and maintained a good chlorine level. Suddenly it's quit generating any chlorine and the check cell LED is flashing. Mineral level is about 33500-4000. Power is level 1 - which I don't seem able to change. If I try in the installer menu, I see the purifier status and then switch straight to the Check Cell flashing red light.
When this first happened, I checked the cell and cleaned it with diluted muriatic acid - no change. Also cleaned the filter and suddenly it all started working again just for one day and now I'm back to the Check Cell flashing red.
To me, this doesn't seem like declining performance with age but more like something has suddenly died. We have had a flock of bad storms lately.
Does anyone have ideas of where I go from here?

Re: Pool Pilot Problem
Hi Graham,
SWCGs are not my area, but we do have a lot of people who can advise you about the Pool Pilot. Be patient for a bit. Once your registration is complete and your post is moved into the SWCG section of the forum, it will get views from some people who should be able to help you. I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to the Pool Forum and let you know that your weren't being ignored!

Re: Pool Pilot Problem
I would suggest you contact AutoPilot [ https://autopilot.com/ ] though it looks their website may be having problems.
Sean Assam of AutoPilot also posts here regularly, and may have other suggestions.

Re: Pool Pilot Problem
Graham, please run a TEST POOL PILOT and let me know what the readings show. That usually indicates where the problem may be coming from.
