You may be talking about thepoolcalculator.com, which Chem_Geek helped create.
Jason Lion wrote The Pool Calculator so should get most of the credit, but it uses formulas I developed in my spreadsheet. The pH calculations, however, are approximate in The Pool Calculator and something Jason did possibly using formulas/tables based on my spreadsheet results. I later found out an easier way to estimate them, but by then Jason had sold The Pool Calculator website and iPhone app to pSIFlow Technology Inc.
