Which pool cleaner is better Polaris 280 or Kreepy Krauly Legend?

We're trying to decide between the Polaris 280 or Kreepy Krauly Legend for our 18x30 gunite pool - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They are very much the same, both being booster pump assisted pressure side cleaners. The Legend is actually a copy of the Polaris. However, it is a 4 wheel design instead of 3 wheel.. Both perform well and have a proven track record. Personally I lean a bit toward the Legend these days since Polaris was bought out by Zodiac a few years back. The Legend is still made by Pentair even though they changed the name from Letro to Kreepy Krawly.

(This reply is based on my limited experience selling Polaris both before and after the Zodiac takeover. Never sold the Legend but I have a great deal of respect for Pentair products and have sold some of their other equipment.:D I have serviced both units however and both are well designed. My limited experience in my own pool is with the now discontinued Mars HP from Zodiac so I have never "lived" with either of the other two units. )
