Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
Could someone show me an example how an aerator head looks like with flagstone coping and waterline tile?
I am thinking about adding an aerator head to my pool but I just don't know where it would fit and how it would look like.
The builder is trying to charge $350 for 3 spray heads which I think is excessive considering all it takes is a jandy valve and a 3/4" run from the pump to the edge of the pool and a $5 aerator fitting.

You forgot PVC line to the aerators, PVC fittings to put it all together, and .... labor.

The project if fairly simple if the pool deck and tile have not been installed but if you are retrofitting its more complex. Take a look at these web sites for ideas.

Re: Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
Thanks so much, I really like the watercrystal stuff, all I need to do now is source it from someone and plumb it.
I don't even have a hole in the ground yet so I don't think it's too late to do anything.
Re: Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
OK, I sourced the really nice water crystal crown jets and the flush mount foam jet at a local pool supply company.
They're a bit too rich for my blood at $240 and $230 a piece price. It would be nice to have them but this is definetely something I'll have to sleep on.
Re: Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
Pentair also makes a deck jet that is less on the walet

Re: Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
Yeah, I have already seen those. They're certainly cheaper than the water crystal, being plastic an all. I think I'll buy a water crystal foam jet for the beach entry and I'll probably go with two of their deck jets. I just think their stuff is more quality and I am willing to pay for it.
Re: Aerator with flagstone coping and tile
Well I'm happy to say that I managed to source the Watercrystal deck jets for $145 a piece and the foamer for $165. I should have them soon. I think it's a really good price for getting something that is almost commercial grade. Now all I need to do is pay off the plumber to do the hookups on the side (see my other post about the hookup question).
