Freezing Reagents?
Hi all --
I was putting together an order to restock some reagents on the Taylor website and when I went to check out, I got this message...
NOTICE
Taylor cannot assume responsibility for freezing conditions. It is the purchaser's responsibility to request "protect from freezing" insurance with motor freight. An additional fee for the carrier applies. Do you want "protect from freezing" service?
I don't have any idea what the freezing point of the reagents is, nor do I know where they might be shipped from. I'm assuming, simply by the fact that they display this message, that the reagents would be ruined if they freeze(?). Thoughts?
EDIT: By "thoughts" I really mean whether anyone has had problems with reagents freezing during delivery. In other words, do I need this? =)
Thanks!
Scott

Re: Freezing Reagents?
I've never gotten that message, but since I live in Louisiana, the possibility of them freezing is not an issue :)
I'm not sure where they are shipping from, but if you live in an area where freezing might possibly be an issue, then I'd just wait another month or two and then make your order.
