Going to the BBB

So I have decided to try to switch the BBB method as everything is getting so expensive.

However, I have noticed that when I add bleach to the pool it immediately turns into a cloud. For some history, I have been battling a metal stain all summer and have tried everything to get rid of it with no luck. I have decided to just live with the stain....

So I am not sure what is going on to be honest. If the bleach is reacting with the metal treatment solution? Has anyone seen this?

Not sure, but I would think it's probably the metals in the water reacting with the sudden high chlorine "pocket". Does the cloudiness clear up fairly quickly? What's your pH? With metals in the water, you're going to have to be careful to keep the pH and chlorine on the low side...
