Pool Store selling "bleach", or the pool store blinked!

I was picking up CYA at the pool store today, and beside it was the 5 litre jugs of liquid chlorine, and the label read "concentrated bleach formula" and sodium hypochloride prominent on the front of the label. Egad, the word bleach in a pool store - what's the world coming to.

I know! GASP!! :eek: Our swim suits are all gonna fade from swimming in bleach water!! :eek::p:p NOT!!!!!!!!!;)

Pool pros have referred to liquid chlorine as 'bleach" or 'Pool Bleach" for years, particularly in areas where the use of it is common. It's what is is, after all!;)

I'd like to know what the pool store guys would say if asked: "Is this the same kind of bleach as laundry bleach?".

When I was asked I would say "yeah, just twice the strength so you need half as much"

I tend to think you're the exception to the rule. I hope I haven't put you off.
