Well, I added water and laid down to read a little while my husband was sleeping ( new job, crazy hours for him, adjustment for us both), and YEP! I fell asleep! Water is up with only about 1 inch in to skimmer. It should be okay, right? I am having kids come tom. they drag water out, crazily!!

What do you teach? That is something I wish I would of did, but too late! I teach children in Sunday School. That is what happens when you get married at 16, and don't realize you have ANY talents until 40! I became a photographer than, and I understand not being able to take the hat off, I eat drink and sleep it, ideas won't stop! Smile!

Digger, I don't understand that question about the water in the skimmer, either. Maybe you can clarify it for us.
In regards to your question about teaching --- I teach math in a middle school. (Although due to illness, this year I only taught the first nine weeks and took the rest of the year off.)

Sorry, I was so confusing! I was filling up my pool with water, and got too much in it! The hole that goes into the skimmer ( or intake ), hope terms are correct, was almost clear full of water. There is only about a 1 inch opening. I am anticipating a fairly heavy bather load tom., with water getting drug out, so I am guessing it will be okay? Do you think I should drain some out?

If you have an inch of free space above the water, you'll be ok. Like you said, with a bunch of kids, there will inevitably be a lot of splashing. Have fun!
