Hi,
here are our first results of the season for our gunite pool:

ph 7.2
alk 60
calc 120
cya 30
any recommendations most appreciated.
the fas dpd #1 is now dark grey. should I replace it?

I'd go ahead and give the pool a shock and try and get rid of the CC. Your pH and alk are both a little on the low side. You can either add a little Borax (to raise pH) and some baking soda (to raise alk) or you can just use Arm and Hammer washing soda which will raise both for you. Just monitor your levels so you don't get too high with either. You might want to use cal-hypo for a bit for your source of chlorine until you get your calcium hardness somewhere between 200-400. Or just use bleach and add some calcium. Either way. CYA of 30 is fine unless you find that you have trouble keeping chlorine in the pool especially on hot, sunny days. if you find that to be true, you might bump it up to 40 or so.
If the FAS-DPD powder still turns the water sample pink, it is probably still ok. But, if you are unsure, it wouldn't hurt to replace it.
