Has anyone ever attempted building a large inline life catcher.
I have a Zodiac Barracuda G4 cleaner. I also have the the matching inline leaf catcher. Both work great, but in the spring, when cleaning up to pool after winter neglect, the leaf catcher fills quite quickly.
I was thinking about building a larger one, but wondered if anyone had already attempted this.

I was thinking about a 5-gallon bucket (screw on lid) with some sort of mesh separator running vertically down the center. Inlet on one side, outlet on the other. Small drain valve near the bottom.

Where's a good place to get the inlet and outlet connectors (bulkhead fittings)?

By the time you put all the parts together, you probably could buy one.

You're probably right, mas, but I was hoping to come up with an industrial-sized leak catcher that I wouldn't have to empty as often during vacuuming and pool cleaning.
