Blowing lines - No water coming out of jets

I have been blowing out my lines with a 5HP shop vac for 15 minutes and no water is coming out of the lines. I drained the pool to 6 inches below the jets two days ago. Is it possible the lines have already drained and dried out? Or do I just keep the blower going, assuming the water will come?

Hi Pam, hope you're well:)

Can you put a hand over one of the returns while the vac is blowing to be sure air is passing through? If you're not getting any air through them, make sure any valves are open;)
