About 1 year ago, my pool service company replaced the original Sta-Rite motor on my circulation pump with an AO Smith Centurion B853 (1HP) (after 3+ years of service). I was very happy with it until now because it ran much cooler and quieter than the original. But now, it has suddenly become noticeably noisier - a more pronounced whine that can be heard in the house. I believe it is also running hotter.
I have been running the pump 12 hours a day since the motor was replaced, where I had been running it 7x24 previously. Any idea what may be happening?
