Custom Cool Decking Colors

My contractor gave me a set of color samples to choose from for the cool decking . I don't really like any of them. Is it possible to get custom colors ? Can I go to a supplier and have colors made up like with regular house paints?

Any advice?


what is the process for applying the color? Is it just painted on or is the color mixed with the concrete?

Hi there,

From what I understand, you can mix colors. I am not sure if that is just diamondbrite or pebbletec.

Like I said I am not sure. Check with your plaster peeps.

Well you can go with a Stegmeier product or a Mortex there similar but some of there colors are different, and no you won't be able to get custom colors. Maybe try doing Stamped concrete?

Sometimes cool deck is used as a generic term. Find out who the manufacturer of the decking product is and then check out their web site. This may give you the information your looking for.
