How often should one check Tri-Sensor Assembly?

Thank you to those who respond.

Never.

Actually, the only thing that may be affected is the salt sensor blades. These are the same material as the cell blades, so if there's a tendency for heavy scale formation between the blades, there may be scale on the salt sensor blades too.

The only time you may need to remove and check the tri-sensor is if you have a flow issue and the normal checks have been confirmed (manifold screen, filter, pump and skimmer basket), salt reading continually shows low (even after calibration), or the temperature is TOO high or TOO low.

Make sure that if you remove the tri-sensor cord, align the connectors befor you push the tri-sensor cord back onto the tri-sensor. These are keyed to go in one position only. If you don't align them, it's possible to bend one or some of the pins in the tri-sensor. Unfortunately if this happens, 90% of the time, when you go to straighten it out, it will break off.
