Hose for chlorinator

I replaced the hoses on my Rainbow chlorinator with clear vinyl flexable tubing. Will the chlorine have any effect on the tubing? I'm concerned that the hose may fail while I'm away. Has anyone tried using any other hose than the manufacture sells? :confused:

Vinyl is bad. It's not compatible with FC.
Get what Hayward sells or Tygon 2075.

Hayward's saddle fiiting kit for Chlorinator includes about 2 ft of tubing. You can get it on line or in pool supply stores.
