View Full Version : Wrinkles in my deep end...

I have a 16x32 with a 6'3" deep end and just replaced the liner. I've read all the threads I could find, and used Dennis’s method here: http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthread.php?t=2635.

I ended up with wrinkles at the deep end next to the wall. The deep end takes up about 1/3 of the pool with a gentle slope in the middle third and a shallow end the last third. With this configuration the area with the wrinkles next to wall is pretty steep.

I had the liner stretched off the bottom, it was (Southeast Texas) hot and sunny today - although I was finishing this evening as the sun was low and creating shadows. (I stopped filling several inches away inches from the pool wall so I can continue working in the sun tomorrow.)

The sloped area and the shallow end are perfect, just the darned area with the steep rise next to the end wall has problems. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks, Jim
