Has anyone used this or checked out what chemicals are in this thing. I saw it at http://www.lesliespool.com/browse/Home/Chemicals/Aquapill/Solarpill-Liquid-Solar-Blanket/D/30100/P/1:100:1000:100080/I/70706 and before I try anything in the pool I thought I would find out if anyone has any experience with it.

ALL these kind of devices have HeatSavr liqud inside them. They might or might not help keep a few degrees heat in your pool overnight. I've tried a few before (the solar fish and also dosing the Heatsavr liquid daily) and got a saving of abvout 2-3 degrees. I just picked up a solar pill because we just got them in at work so I can see how well it works before recommending it to cusotmers. I was not happy with the fish and, unless you have a peristaltic pump to automate the dosing of the HeatSavr liquid it's just too much work for such a small heat savings, IMHO.

There you have it, folks! Honest pool store guy tells you it's a waste of money. Thanks, Evan.
