I hope I'm not breaking any rules by discussing costs, however I would like to draw on the collective wisdom of this community. I'll leave out any company names to keep this safe.
Have a 27k inground 20 year old concrete pool. Current finish is pitted, worn through in several areas and stained near the deep end drain. I assume I am at the time to refinish.
Just had a quote of $8,300 for a basic white plaster to include 40lf of rim tile on the steps, loveseat and spa step. The cost rises to $10,000 if I use an aggregate finish, and up to $12,000 for a cobalt finish. Suggested material is an Ansybrite finish for the upgrade.
Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.
BTW I am in the Philly area of PA
