Saw information on UV water treatments

Are the UV units that are around good for pools. They saw they have been used for years in commercial but residential pool use is new. :confused:

Anyone had any good / bad experience with UV . :)

there are a few different kinds and brands that " claim" best thing to sliced bread" I just want a clean clear pool that is plesant to swim in.
