We need to caulk the beauty ring area of the pool. Lots of holes and cracks...some good size. The beauty ring (think that is the term, please correct if not) seems to be a hard plastic. Plan to paint the beauty ring/caulk areas by dragging the deck color down. We also will clean tiles when we can get in the water....end of week we hope! I have some pics sitting on my desktop, but can't figure out how to attach them to my post. What kind of caulk do you folks think we should use? Thanks, Joyce

Wow, the pic worked! I'll get another and you folks tell us what to use. Do we maybe need somehthing else with the caulk?

Joyce, nice pics! I would use either baking soda paste on a green scrubbie or Mr Clean magic eraser to clean up the area in question, let dry and apply white 'kitchen/ bath' silicone caulk. You could also use white grout to fill the areas, but it looks like the caulk was used before.

Thanks! I just sent you a PM to ask you to look at my post! We also have some line cracks in our concrete wall around the pool deck. Our pool is at least 14 years old (we think - we've only had it 16 months). I need more pics and will try to get some this weekend if my son comes over w/his camera. Thanks again & happy swimming!:)
