Anyone Try A Fan And A Net To Get Rid Of Mosquitos?

So, before I go out and buy a Box Fan and order this Skeeter Bag, I was wondering if anyone has tried this (or something similar):

Basically you just take your box fan, attach this net to it, turn it on, and suck in all the mosquitos.

Pretty discusting to clean, but if it works, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than the Magnet. Makes me wonder though why you can't just use a box fan without the net? Would they really survive going through the blades?

Anyway, if you've used a fan to control your mosquito problem, report back on the results if you don't mind.

I will build a simple version with some old screen and see if it works.

The mosquitos would easily go through the fan without harm.

Great! I would do the same except that I don't own any box fans, so before I spend $30 I figured I'd see if anyone else has done it.
