Need advice on BBB

Greetings All:
I am having trouble getting a clear pool. It is green with algae. My pool is L-shaped 40,000 gallon with a vinyl liner and a sand filter. I have been shocking and testing it and here are the pool store test results:

Free chlorine: Over10ppm
TC: over 10ppm
combined chlorine 0.0 ppm
P.H. 8.2
Hardness 30 ppm
Alkalinity with stabilizer correction 118 ppm
CYA 75ppm

Tonight I added 1 gallon of muriatic acid and 8 (174 ounces) jugs of ultra bleach from Walmart. I also swept. PLease advise. I have seven more gallons of bleach. Should I add them? I live in hot ,humid northeast Texas.

Right now you have two main things:

You need to add bleach or liquid chlorine to get your FC (or TC if that's all you have) to 20ppm, and keep it there until all the algae is dead and gone (may take 2 weeks).

You need to lower you pH to between 7.3 and 7.5. This will make the chlorine work far more effectively.
